We are excited to close out our spring Food Justice Workshop Series with an in-person, outdoor drop-in event, combined with a Zoom workshop, where Yuki and Yu will demonstrate salad roll making! Participants will have the opportunity to pick up an ingredient kit and recipe home to make their own salad rolls, or take a pre-made roll to go. The demo will take place over Zoom between 2 and 3pm, and will also be recorded and shared on our website. From 1-2pm we will be handing out "Food Justice Kits" that include herb/veggie starts or seeds for your windowsill or garden, recipes, food justice "zines" with resources and tips, a token for a Hollywood Farmers Market purchase, and more. And we'll be hosting an outdoor plant start and seed swap!

There are many opportunities to participate ahead of time and day of. We may also be able to deliver kits to interested participants who aren't able to come in person.
