For our virtual gathering on 5/23 from 3 - 4:30pm, we will be sharing a few short, simple recipe videos made by project volunteers and participants, and continuing to build skills and confidence for others who would like to give recipe video making a try! Videos will include Yuki's virtual grocery store tour to get us ready for salad rolls in June, and Jocelyn's family granola recipe. This Zoom gathering will also include a volunteer interest and planning session for the final event of the Food Justice Workshop series! This event will be held in-person on Saturday, June 12th from 1-3pm and will feature a salad roll making demonstration. We will be handing out and possibly delivering "Food Justice Kits" (including herb and veggie starts and seeds, recipes, food justice zines, etc). There will be many different opportunities for volunteers to participate - whether remotely or in-person, in the coming weeks or the day of.
