Ever heard of “hoshigaki”? This traditional Japanese snack is made in the winter by air-drying persimmons. We’ll be joined by our friend Tomoe who has been practicing this sweet specialty for years. Plus, more recipes, resources, and facts about the lovely orange-red orbs we call persimmons! What a treat!
If you’d like to grab persimmons while also supporting PFTP, head over to the Montavilla Farmers Market November 8th and 22nd as well as the King Farmers Market November 15th, 22nd, and 29th while supplies last!
We hope to see you there!
